Three of the motors give independent adjustment of the back rest, seating cushion and leg rest making the chair adjustable electronically to form either a comfortable easy chair, or a bed-like couch. The position of the patients can be set from almost upright to Trendelenburg.
A fourth motor allows chair height adjustment.
The newly developed construction of the UniversalLine provides very high stability whilst in the horizontal position. The powerful motor system allows quick transfer to Trendelenburg position. An emergency foot pedal facilitates activation of the shock position meaning immediate measures can be initiated without having to press an emergency button by hand.
A safe maximum load of 180 kg allows comfortable treatment for larger people. The footrest can be adjusted manually to give increased comfort during treatment.
The easy to lower armrest is designed to ease access to the patient and to support the arm. The armrest can be tilted upwards for better entry and exit of the chair. To facilitate getting in and out of the chair for patients in wheel chairs the armrest can be removed.
A choice of different upholstery technologies provides for all needs ranging from standard foam cushion, to visco-elastic pressure relieving foam or metal sprung.
